Who We Are
At Universal Interiors my staff and I enjoy designs of all types. We do not have a “look”, we are trained to create your look. As it implies in our name, we apply universal principles where ever and whenever we feel it’s appropriate and helpful to the clients’ needs. We use only quality products from reliable sources with warranties and good customer service.
As you can see from our gallery, we do a lot of kitchens and bathrooms, but we also love furniture! Purchasing good quality furniture with durable fabrics is an investment and should be done with careful thought and planning. Furniture should fit your space and your needs. We work with our client’s existing spaces and order furniture sized to the room, not to a showroom floor. You will always receive a complete design with advice on how to phase the project to fit the budget. Right down to accessories and window coverings, we think of it all.
One of our specialties is remodeling kitchens and bathrooms to update you not only with the current trends and efficient fixtures but also to make it accessible for now and for the future so you can stay in your home in your senior years. A professional designer should have the client’s best interest at the core of the design. It’s important that you feel comfortable communicating with your designer which is why we always like to meet with potential clients at no charge to discuss the relationship you are looking for to ensure we can provide friendly and timely service. At Universal Interiors, we believe that design impacts lives and we operate on the philosophy that everyone deserves good design
What We Do
At Universal Interiors we have designed everything from a custom rug to a master suite to a hotel Ballroom. We take pride in the ability to extend our services to projects of any size, from homes to public spaces. Our staff is trained to provide schematic drawings, specifications and material boards to provide you with a complete understanding of your design.
To start, we can be hired for a two-hour consultation so we can evaluate your space and needs or provide you with a new color scheme and space plan for your existing rooms. If you are starting fresh, let us put together a complete package of drawings, furniture options, unique fabrics, and a color scheme that expresses you and how you live. For projects in healthcare and hospitality, we can provide written specifications on all furniture, fixture, and equipment selections.
Universal Interiors also offers seminars for private companies or professional organizations to educate your members or employees on the benefits of planning now for aging in your own home or when they are called upon to care for a family member in their home.
