“I love that shower so much that I almost always make an effort to come downstairs and shower with the "pebbles", which by the way, was brilliant. Putting them on the floor gives a very solid, non-slip surface so stability for older folks is excellent. And, considering you don't even have to get wet to turn on the water and adjust the temp, stability is even better. The "partial" enclosure gives a sense of privacy without having to fiddle with doors or shower curtains or throwing a towel over a door or shower rod - it is on the hook right next to the open shower. The trench drain is also a big winner - no drain to stand on or slip-on.

“Due to an injury and increasing age, I bought an old, single-story house that had to be completely renovated. She was familiar with my taste - I like a lot of light, many windows, and the open concept. She was able to combine two smaller bedrooms into one large master so that I could have a walk-in closet and a nice-sized master bathroom. I love my shower. I just have to press a button and the water temperature and volume are already set. I never knew such an apparatus existed! Nancy attends many seminars/conventions on the mainland and keeps herself updated in her craft. She is also mindful about "aging in place".

I felt secure with her knowledge and experience and trusted her taste. When the house renovations were completed, no one could believe it was the same house. I love it and enjoy working with Nancy!”

“Nancy worked with me to design a place that was functional, barrier-free where everything needed was right at hand. I love my new kitchen... everyone comments on the color scheme (grays and blues) and how easy it is to cook and clean. The bathroom was remodeled from a tub to a walk-in shower with a chair and if needed in the future, the vanity can be converted to accommodate a wheelchair.

Although I was working in New York City up until the day renovation started, with some face-to-face meetings when I was back in Hawaii and a series of e-mails and phone conversations, Nancy understood my preferences and found what I wanted...sometimes difficult on the island.

The renovation also finished on schedule and I look forward to many years ahead in my new apartment.”
